Rula accepts commercial plans from most major insurance carriers including Aetna, Anthem, most Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield plans, Cigna, Kaiser (by referral), Optum, Oscar, and United Healthcare. These vary by state. We can also work with some employer-based plans not listed. We do not currently accept Medicaid or Medicare plans, though we hope to in the future.
Rula patients typically pay $15 per session, although your individual cost may vary based on your insurance benefits and deductible. As a benefit of using Rula, we’ll contact your insurance carrier and provide you with an estimate of your per session cost before your first appointment!
While Rula is in-network with most major insurance plans, we understand that not everyone is covered by insurance. Rula offers a cash rate of $150/session for individual therapy and $165/session for families or couples.
The cash rate for psychiatry sessions is $350 for an initial 60-minute intake session and $150 for 30-minute follow-up sessions. You can also use your HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Savings Account) to cover out-of-pocket expenses.
